COYOTE HUNTING

COYOTE OUTFITTER

The coyote is a member of the dog family that is found across the North American continent. They roam freely across forests, mountains, agricultural areas, and even near cities - they are very adaptable.

Coyotes are brown/gray and some have reddish tints depending on where they live.  They have a bushy tail, pointed ears, and a long nose. Coyotes can weigh up to 60 pounds and are nocturnal. Coyotes will eat just about anything and prey on livestock and other game. They have an excellent sense of smell and vision and can run upwards of 30 mph. The difference between a running coyote and a running wolf is that the coyote keeps his tail down, while the wolf will have it's tail up. Coyote's form packs for hunting and make many noises to talk with each other including howls, yelps, barks, wails, squeals, growls, and high-pitched cries.
